E komo mai!
Welcome! We are so glad you have found us!
Starting January 1st, 2021 we are accepting applications for all grades here at St. Benedict Hall for the 2021-22 School Year! We are delighted that you are considering St. Benedict Hall for your children, and we pray that God would lead you with wisdom as you discern the best fit for your children next school year. Since starting our program in 2018, we have been humbled to offer our Classical Christian hybrid education to more than sixty students. We’ve learned a lot through trial and error over the years, and we are committed to continue to improve our model to be a blessing to more families seeking this kind of education. It is our desire and goal to continue to partner with parents in hybrid schooling, and we want to grow to be able to accommodate more families into what we are doing!
Below is a snapshot what our admission process looks like:
Please submit your application using the online form below.
Within 2 weeks of submitting your application, we will schedule a campus visit, parent interview, and student academic evaluation on our campus. If you are currently off-island we can do this over Zoom.
Within 2 weeks after your interview, you will receive a response from us.
If you receive an acceptance letter, you have 2 weeks to submit a $300 deposit per child to reserve a seat for the 2021-22 School Year. This deposit will be credited to your first month’s program dues in August, 2021.
Our desire is to provide a quality education to every student we have been given to disciple. While we have been blessed with substantial interest in our program, we are being careful at this stage of our development to not admit more students than those to whom we can provide this quality education. That said, we are unable to accept all applications at this time. Due to covid restrictions, safety considerations, and a desire for small class sizes, we have capped our enrollment at 13 students per Form class. We are doing the best we can to discern which families we can partner with to create a vibrant learning community where our families, students, and teachers will thrive.
Following your final interview, you will hear back from us within 2 weeks. You may be put in a wait pool. We will give families with a parent willing to teach and families who attend an Anglican church priority in our selection process. If you are willing to teach and we have a particular need in the classroom, we will schedule a follow up interview to discuss that possibility.

#1: Connect
The first step is to reach out and let us know you are interested! We’d love to begin a conversation, answer any preliminary questions you have about our program!
#2: Complete our Online Application
Complete an online application for each family applying.
The application includes several distinct parts:
Part 1: SBH Application, completed by parents
Part 2: Submit your DOE letter of intent to homeschool your child.
Part 3: Submit a writing sample for each student.
Note: SBH keeps an active applicant pool, and applicants are evaluated in the order in which they are received, as space is available. If we do not have any openings in your child’s form but believe your student and family are a good fit for our school model, we will keep your child’s application active until the start of our next school year. During that time, we will let you know if any seats become available.
