Excursion RSVP

Join the SBH Community as we visit the

Honolulu Zoo

Tuesday, November 26th from 10am-lunch

  • Be prepared to pay for parking at the Zoo with a credit card ($1.50/hour)

  • For our Kamaaina Field Trip Group rate:

    • Free for kids 2 and under

    • Pre-k to 6th grade is $2 per child

    • 7-12th grade is $4 per child

    • Chaperones and adults is $8 each

  • People who have their own membership, just enter through the separate entrance and will get in free.

  • We will meet under the Banyan tree until 10:15am, Deacon Ben will gather money from everyone, and then Deacon Ben will pay for everyone there all at once.

  • If you arrive later than 10:15am, you’ll need to pay your own way into the Zoo (rates will be higher ($19/ticket) if you don’t enter in with the group).

  • Please bring water and a lunch. They do have a place to purchase food inside the Zoo, but it’s very expensive.

  • Children need to be supervised by their own parents. We’ll generally stay together through the Zoo and then end at the big play area near the Tiger to have lunch and let the kids play on the jungle gym. If you come late, you can meet us there!

  • RSVP by Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

  • SBH Students and Tutors attend free (paid by SBH).

  • Parents will need to pay $8 to attend, and $2-4 per non-SBH sibling over 2 year old. Checks (made out to “Saint Benedict Hall” with “Zoo Excursion” in memo) can be given to Deacon Ben at the event, but we prefer you pay through Venmo here ahead of time.

Like all our excursions, parents will need to be present during excursion unless you give express permission to another parent to be responsible and liable for your child. SBH as a program is not directly responsible for the safety or well being of students while on excursions due to our limited insurance coverage. However, we will of course all take care of each other and watch out for the kids together while we’re on these excursions!

If you are planning on carpooling with someone else, you don’t need to complete this form. The driver of the carpooling vehicle will include all the children they are bringing on this form.
