COST FOR SBH TOUR:
Adults and children over 2: $8.00
Children under 2 (23 months or younger): free
SBH Students and Tutors will be covered by SBH. All others will need to pay their own way by paying Deacon Ben by November 26 with a check or Venmo (@Benedict-Hall).
From 3 and 4 Students are eligible to attend this excursion, though they are first encouraged to attend the restoration excursion if possible. We understand that for families with older students as well as younger students, it’s only possible to do one excursion.
Train ride begins at 10am, arrive by 9:30 to use restroom/get lined up, etc.
Ride is about 2 hours to include a 24 minute stop at Ko’olina where we can get off and grab a snack or ice cream at the shops right there. We can also bring snacks on train :)
Consider bringing hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen as half of the ride will likely be in the sun.
Picnic area with tables is available for us to when lunch to follow.
(Small train museum will not be open that day)

Like all our excursions, parents will need to be present during excursion unless you give express permission to another parent to be responsible and liable for your child. SBH as a program is not directly responsible for the safety or well being of students while on excursions due to our limited insurance coverage. However, we will of course all take care of each other and watch out for the kids together while we’re on these excursions!
